Tool/Equipment Tracking & Labeling
All Tools and Equipment in the space will be tracked.
Each tool or piece of equipment must have a permanent label with a reforge asset number on it.
Smaller tools (screwdrivers and such) are exempt from this and tracked as a set in whatever toolbox/drawer/pegboard they are associated with.
Tools / Equipment without Labels
If a tool or piece of equipment is found without a label or a space in a toolbox/drawer/pegboard it is your duty to report it to the Operations and Facilities Committee. The Operations and Facilities Committee will then assign it an asset number and label it accordingly. Any tool acquired in this manner will become property of Reforge Charleston after 15 days. See the Storage Policy to ensure this does not happen to any tools you do not intend to donate to Reforge Charleston.
If you notice a tool missing it is your duty to report it to the Operations and Facilities Committee so that we may track it down and maintain dues to a minimum.
